The Outerwear You Must Have

We need to survive the cold weather, so why not do it in style? Gone are the days of wearing the same old winter jacket! You can have so much fun with layers, texture and color this season. With the cold weather comes a great opportunity to spice up your wardrobe with pieces that are both cozy and stylish. One of my favorite cold weather categories is outerwear! I love unique silhouettes like wraps and long coats. They coordinate beautifully with accessories like hats and scarves and pair so well with boots-- my go-to winter footwear. I generally prefer wraps and coats to jackets, but I’ll make an exception for a beautiful jacket like this one. I really like the longer cut paired with the leather. It is classy and chic with a bold edge.

Oversized Long Coat

You can’t go wrong with an oversized long coat. I love the classic elegance it can bring to a winter outfit and a punch of color is a fun, bold choice. I personally own a couple similar coats to this one.

When a coat trend is as practical as it is fun to wear, that’s a trend I jump on. I actually own this exact double faced shawl. It’s comfortable, it’s cozy and it goes with a variety of looks.

This is one of my favorite jackets. Once again, it’s a long cut and has a stunning slimming silhouette. I have this jacket in my closet in black. Such a great find!
